Evelyn Joann Pashia, age 78, of Keytesville, MO and formerly of New Franklin, MO, passed away July 23, 2025, at Moberly Regional Medical Center.

Evelyn was born in Jacksonville, IL on April 26, 1947, a daughter of the late William Allen and Martha Elizabeth (Fanning) Retzer. She was employed as a CNA at area health care facilities until her retirement. Evelyn loved her family and spending time with them. She was a talented quilter and enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, watching her DVD's, playing canasta and was a chocoholic – enjoying anything made with chocolate.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Ann Barch and son-in-law, David; a son, Michael Lee Mitchell; a brother, Delbert Lee Retzer; sisters, Linda Kay Hayes, Millie P. Nagel, Betty Ring and Barbara Ring; grandchildren, Eric Bryan Mitchell, Dawn Michelle Mitchell, Amy Nicole Dungan, Tina Lynn Dungan, Vicky Kaye Dungan and Dalton Gillespie and by her great grandchildren, Aaliyah Jones, Jamal Jones, Harley Dean Kramel and Legion Kane Kramel.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Pashia and a brother, William Allen "Corky" Ring.

A private family viewing at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin will precede a private family graveside service at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in New Franklin.
