Evelyn M. Sellers passed away on May 13, 2025 at Skyline Ridge Nursing Home in Canon City Colorado. She was born to Ernest Reed and Rebecca Mae Reed of Grafton, West Virginia on February 24, 1931. She was married to Gerald W. Sellers of Manassa, Colorado on November 21, 1961 and later to Donald Conklin of Tres Piedras, New Mexico on June 16, 2012. She is survived by three children: Susan Erdmann (Terry Erdmann) of Canon City, Colorado, Beverly Pringle (Edward Pringle) of Florence, Arizona and Don Sellers (Janean Sellers) of DuBois Wyoming. She is survived by her ten grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald W. Sellers, her parents and her thirteen brothers and sisters.
She was a beloved member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she and her late husband served a mission in the Fox Creek, Colorado Branch. She served in many positions in both the Manassa, Colorado Ward and the Fox Creek Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was loved by all. She had a wonderful sense of humor, was the glue of her family and she especially loved little children.
Visitations will be held at Roger's Family Mortruary at 205 N. 3rd Street in Manassa, Colorado on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. as well as on Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at the church.
Funeral services will follow on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 311 Main Street, Manassa, Colorado beginning at 10:30 a.m. Dedication of the grave will follow the funeral and will be held at the Manassa Cemetery in Manassa, Colorado.
