Mr. Eventer G. McQueen, 68, of Bagdad FL passed away on February 25, 2025.
He was born to the late Lacy and Annie Ruth McQueen on April 25, 1956, in Milton FL.
His Christian Walk
He joined Mt. Bethel Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. His father, Lacy Sr., was a Sunday School Superintendent at the time. He sang in Jr. choir and learned himself how to play the piano and work in the youth ministry.
A Time to Learn
He was educated in the Santa Rosa County School system and graduated from Milton High School and served his country in the US Army as a heavy equipment mechanic and after he was honorably discharged, he worked for a glass company as a glass cutter. He became disabled with a hearing impediment while in the Army.
Those Gone on Before
Eventer was preceded in death by his parents Lacy McQueen Sr. and Annie Ruth Locke McQueen; his brothers, Lacy McQueen Jr. and Michael McQueen; oldest son, Darrick Johnson.
Those He Leaves Behind
He leaves to cherished memories, two sons, Aubrey McQueen and Jacobi McQueen; grandchildren, Abrea Johnson, Ashley Johnson and Darrick Johnson Jr; great grandchildren, Amiyah and Amoni Brown; Sisters, Evelyn (Henry) Nichols, Patricia (James) Manning of Milton FL; Brother, Earnest McQueen of Bagdad, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
God's Care is Everywhere
Sometimes the things that seem the worst turn out to be the best. So, think of this as just a time to get a little rest and while we cannot understand why things happen as they do. The one who hangs the rainbow out has His own plan for you and may it comfort us to know that he is in His care, and we all are a part of God, and God is Everywhere!
