Everline Scott Grimball
1949 – 2025
Everline Scott Grimball, a resident of Des Allemands, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on June 17, 2025, at the age of 76. She was born to the union of the late Dorothy K. Scott and Harry Scott, Sr. on March 28, 1949. She was a long-time employee of St. Charles Parish School System and Treasure Chest Casino. She was well known as Everline," Everlina", "Julie Ann" and "Madea". If you all knew Everline she loved going to the casino playing bingo and the video poker machine. She would give you her last and would not expect anything in return.
Everline Scott Grimball leaves to cherish her 2 children Dawn M. Scott and Jarrell L. Turner, Jr. (Dionne), one sister Shirley S. Bass (Walter), 3 grandchildren Ralea M. Scott, Raine L. Turner and Rome Turner, 1 great grandchild Harlem M. Scott, 2 godchildren, Damon Scott (Daphne) and Shamarr Moses, 1 bonus son Brad Young and 2 bonus grandchildren Cash and Rayge, Special devoted friend Elvin "Buddy" Boyd and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Oliver S. Grimball (Julio), parents Dorothy K. Scott and Harry Scott, Sr., brothers Harry Scott, Jr., Ernest Scott, Irvin Scott, Sr., Lawrence Scott, Nathaniel Scott and sister Marguriete Scott.
Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, Officers and Members of Antioch Baptist Church and all neighboring Churches are invited to the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00am on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Antioch Baptist Church, 16461 Old Spanish Trail, Des Allemands, LA 70030. Rev. Dr. Mitchell Bolden, Jr., Pastor-Officiating. Visitation 10:00am until time of service at the above-named Church. Interment will be private. Final Arrangements Entrusted to Patrick H. Sanders Funeral Home & Funeral Directors, LLC. 605 Main Street, Laplace, LA 70068. 985-359-1919. "Providing Care & Comfort is Our Highest Mission."
