Elder Ezell Brown was born on March 9, 1943 in Italy, Texas to Leatha Mae McCoy and Billy Keith Brown.

Elder Brown attended I. M. Terrell High School in Fort Worth, Texas and later transferred to Dalworth High School graduating in 1962. After graduating, he joined the U.S. Army.

Elder Brown started a new chapter in his life when he was called into the Ministry in 2003. He went on to graduate from the NTime School with the Church of God in Christ of Texas North East First under the leadership of Bishop J Neaul Haynes.

Elder Brown was preceded in death by his Mother Leatha Mae McCoy, Father Billy Keith Brown, Grandmother LD Johnson, Sister Jimmie May Scott, Brothers HD Brown and James L Brown, as well as his Aunts and Uncles.

Elder Brown leaves to cherish his memories his Wife Missionary Linda Brown, Daughters Thelma Richardson, Leola Kemp Brooks, Selena Jackson and Nina Brooks; Sons Michael Brown, Brian Keith Tisby and Dameion Green; bonus Daughters Sharonda Kemp Tutt, Shonta Bell, Jessica Marinee Moreno, La Shonda Delealso, India Cornileus and Brittany Quin; 15 Grandchildren and 27 Great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and Church Family of the C.O.G.I.C.
