ASHEVILLE – Faye Bailey Williams, age 95, of Asheville went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 13, 2025.
Mrs. Williams was born on February 4, 1930, in Buncombe County where she had lived all of her life. She was a beautician for many years. She was also a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church and attended Elk Mountain Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late James and Margaret Bailey and wife of the late Wayne Williams.
Surviving are her stepdaughters, Donna DeBruhl of Alexander, and Rose Ann Myers of Asheville; stepsons, Horace Williams of SC, and Jimmy Williams of Marshall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 21, 2025, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, 901 Aiken Rd., Asheville.
The family will receive friends from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., Monday, July 21, 2025, at the funeral home prior to the service.
