Fernando Miranda, a devoted husband, loving father, and faithful servant of God, entered eternal rest on July 14, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on August 20, 1938, in Iramuco, Guanajuato, Mexico, he lived a life marked by hard work, humility, and unwavering love for his family.
Fernando was the beloved son of María de Jesús Miranda and Eleuterio Maravilla. A man of quiet strength and deep Catholic faith, he found purpose and meaning in caring for his family and serving others. He was married to the late Teresa Maravilla de Miranda for 65 years-a partnership grounded in faith, love, and mutual respect.
A hardworking and responsible father, Fernando led his children by example, teaching them the value of integrity, perseverance, and compassion. His life was a testament to the virtues he held dear-faith in God, devotion to family, and a generous heart.
Fernando is survived by his children Jorge (María Isabel), Alfredo (Sandra), María Guadalupe (Pablo), Juan (Brenda), Teresa, Jerónimo (Laura), Jesús (Betzabé), Mariana (Rigoberto), and María Cruz, as well as his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry forward his legacy of love and strength.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on July 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation and the praying of the Rosary will take place at Parkview Mortuary on July 28, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Delano, CA.
May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Fernando Miranda, esposo devoto, padre amoroso y fiel servidor de Dios, entró en el descanso eterno el 14 de julio de 2025 a la edad de 86 años. Nació el 20 de agosto de 1938 en Irámuco, Guanajuato, México, y vivió una vida marcada por el trabajo, la humildad y el amor incondicional por su familia.
Hijo querido de María de Jesús Miranda y Eleuterio Maravilla, Fernando fue un hombre de gran fortaleza interior y profunda fe católica. Encontró propósito y sentido en cuidar de su familia y servir a los demás. Compartió 65 años de matrimonio con su esposa, la fallecida Teresa Maravilla de Miranda, en una unión basada en la fe, el amor y el respeto mutuo.
Padre ejemplar, trabajador y responsable, Fernando guió a sus hijos con el ejemplo, enseñándoles el valor de la integridad, la perseverancia y la compasión. Su vida fue un verdadero testimonio de las virtudes que atesoraba: fe en Dios, entrega a la familia y un corazón generoso.
Le sobreviven sus hijos Jorge (María Isabel), Alfredo (Sandra), María Guadalupe (Pablo), Juan (Brenda), Teresa, Jerónimo (Laura), Jesús (Betzabé), Mariana (Rigoberto) y María Cruz, así como sus nietos y bisnietos, quienes llevarán adelante su legado de amor y fortaleza.
La Santa Misa de Exequias se celebrará en la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe el 29 de julio de 2025 a las 10:00 a.m. La velación y el rezo del Santo Rosario tendrán lugar en Parkview Mortuary el 28 de julio de 2025.
En lugar de flores, se pueden hacer donaciones a la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe en Delano, CA.
