Flora May Stafford was born on August 23, 1925 in Gainesboro, TN and passed away at her residence in Gainesboro on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the age of 99.
Flora May was the daughter of Jessie Stafford and Dolly D. Vaughn Stafford. She was a homemaker and a member of the Poston Chapel Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Grover Cecil Stafford, sons, Bobby Richard Stafford, Grover Stafford, Mikey Stafford; daughters, Dottie Jean Dawes; grandchildren, Tony James Stafford, Christopher Key.
Survived by: sons: James Brown (Helen) Stafford of Gainesboro TN, Danny Dale Stafford of Gainesboro TN; daughters: Dece Key of Cookeville TN and Mary Lou Carmack of Gainesboro TN; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren along with other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation will be on Sunday 11 am to 2 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Scantland officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Assist with Funeral Expenses.
