Florentino Flores, Sr. arrived 7, April 1958 in New Gulf, Texas. Departed 18, July 2025 in Bastrop, Texas.

Preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo Sr. and Ricarda, brother Frankie and granddaughter, Araceli.

At the Young age of 67 years old Florentino accomplished much more than many could.

Born as the Eldest Son of Ricarda and Lorenzo Flores, Sr. Followed by his younger siblings Fermin, Fernando, Petra, Rosa, Lorenzo Jr., Patrick and Frankie.

He took on his bride Janie Hernandez 25 May of 1979 and fathered Candida, Sandra, Randy, Florentino, Janie, Samantha, and Nevaeh.

A dedicated Provider and a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he showed his love of loud trucks and fast cars.

A mighty man of God. His love for his whole family ran deep into the Veins of his Grandchildren Veronica, Silvestre, Salena, Sammy,Skye, Ariel, Enrique,Tino, Hope, Heaven, Aurora, Maverick, and Carlos Ill. He loved his Nieces Marie, Christina, Amanda, Laura and Victoria and his Twenty-one Great Grandchildren.

His life may have been short but never short of love, family, and joy. Now he awaits our presence in heaven.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 31, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at the Rockdale First Assembly of God, 310 Childress Dr., Rockdale, TX 76567. Be ready to praise and worship the Lord And celebrate the life of Florentino.
