Floyd Boone Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
At the age of 12 he moved to California and worked as a farm laborer. On March 22, 1963 he was united in marriage to Velma Sherman. The couple raised their children in California. In 2012 they moved to Estherville, Iowa. Velma passed away in February of 2013 and later that year he returned to Arkansas. In 2023 he again relocated to Terril, Iowa to be closer to his daughter.
Floyd love hunting and fishing with his nephews and friends.
Floyd is survived by his children Alicia Boone (Dave Cuklanz) of Terril and Kevin Boone of California, his step-children Lance (Michelle) Mackenzie and Brenda Stewart, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Cloise Boone and Pat Gatlin.
Floyd is preceded in death by his parents, wife Velma, sons Jamie and Frank, and siblings Lloyd Boone, Doreen Drew, Pauline Sims, Oreen Whittington, Irene Horne, Alveen Horne, Betty Lou Mckinney, and Loise Boone.
