Forrest Wright Obituary

Forrest Harold Wright, age 57 of Jacksonville passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024 at Orange Park Medical Center. Forrest was born in Fairbanks, Alaska on April 16, 1967. He would go on to play football in college at Western New Mexico and would continue to help young players develop for many years as a coach and mentor. He worked as a contractor for several years, most notably with White Oaks Residential.
In his free time, Mr. Wright was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Wright; his son: Colton Wright; step-children: Joshua Lindes, Taylor Lindes, and Michael Shields; his mother: Diane Graves; his granddaughter and the light of his life: RiverSage Lindes; sisters: Melody (Thomas) Munn, Lona (Lewis) Gomez, Carol Maples, and Alice (David) Turner; as well as extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father: Harold Wright; his step-father and fishing buddy: Carl Graves; and a brother: Lee Graves.
Final memorialization will be by cremation.
