In Loving Memory of
Frances Louise Osborne Oelschlaeger
November 12, 1931 – July 4, 2025
Tonganoxie, Kansas – Frances Louise Osborne Oelschlaeger, 93, passed peacefully on July 4, 2025. Born on November 12, 1931, Frances lived a long and meaningful life rooted in faith, family, and hard work.
She was married to Francis Ray Oelschlaeger for nearly 33 years, before his passing in April 1996. She later married Ray Jones of Belton, Missouri, who also preceded her in death.
Frances was a devoted mother to three sons, Jeffrey Oelschlaeger (Lydia);
Michael Oelschlaeger (Angela); and Daniel Oelschlaeger (Jennifer Anbari). She was a grandmother to six and great grandmother to nine.
A lifelong Christian woman, Frances raised her boys in church at Monticello Gospel Assembly, where she served faithfully for many years as the church pianist. In her later years, she continued her faithfulness at the Belton Assembly.
Frances was known for being a hardworking go-getter and for her straightforward nature. She took pride in her gardening and canning skills, loved farm life, and traveled at every opportunity. She rarely missed church. Her piano skills echoed through decades of worship. But of all things she enjoyed, spending time laughing and visiting with her sisters was among her favorites.
She is survived by a legacy of faith, family, and love that will live on through generations.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm, on Friday, July 11, 2025, with her Funeral service at 10 am, Saturday, July 12, 2025, both at Monticello Gospel Assembly, located at 9200 S Hedge Lane Terrace, Lenexa, KS.
All who knew and loved Frances are welcome to attend and honor her remarkable life. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Monticello Gospel Assembly.
