Frances Tate “Peck” Troutman, age 92 of Dandridge, TN passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Regency Retirement Village of Morristown, TN. She was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Wolfenbarger) Tate and was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Troutman and several siblings. Frances is survived by her sons Jim (Shelia) Troutman and Jerry Troutman; grandchildren, Kerry Zee Troutman, Luke (Ally) Troutman, and Bradley (Brandi) Troutman; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Cade, Connor, Deker, Boone, Callen, and Kamryn; brother, Bill Tate. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dandridge where she worked several years as the church secretary. Before she retired, she also worked at the Jefferson Co. Trustee’s office, Tennessee Handbags, and helped working on the family farm. Peck, as she was affectionately known, was a kind and loving soul who never met a stranger and enjoyed making a new friend. Their home was a gathering place for Jim and Jerry’s friends who came for fun and fellowship. Peck made all her boys feel at home and saw that they had something to eat and enjoyed themselves. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered in each and everyone’s heart she touched. The family would like to express their gratitude of thanks to all of the staff and other residents at Regency Retirement Village of Morristown for all their love and excellent care they gave Frances while she was a resident there. In lieu of flowers the family kindly request that memorial gifts be made to your favorite charity in memory of Frances Troutman. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, February 23, 2026, 11:00am at Dandridge Memorial Gardens with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating. Friends may call at their convenience on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 12:00 to 5:00pm where the body will lie in state at Farrar Funeral Home.
