Frank Berger Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Frank Berger Jr, who died of natural causes at the age of 97 in Macomb, Michigan on 7/18/2025. Born in Detroit, Michigan on 4/16/1928, Frank lived a long and fulfilling life marked by dedication to family, hard work, and cherished moments.
Frank was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Julie, who passed away in 2022. Frank and Julie's love story began in their teenage years, blossoming into a remarkable 75 years of marriage. Together, they shared a passion for travel, enjoying countless adventures with dear friends and family. Their favorite pastimes included golfing, bowling, dancing and frequent trips to Las Vegas, and they especially loved hosting family holiday gatherings and trips to Shanty Creek, Captiva Island and Puerto Vallarta, where countless cherished memories were made.
A proud Korean War Veteran, Frank honorably served his country in Korea. After his military service, he dedicated his early years striving to provide for his growing family. His entrepreneurial spirit later led him to establish his own successful tool and die business, Tool Rite, Inc., a testament to his ambition and skill.
Frank leaves behind a beautiful legacy carried on by his five children: Frank III (Talei), Kathy (Larry), Diane (Mike), Mike (late Trinette), and Jim (Julie). He was also a proud grandfather to eleven grandchildren and a loving great-grandfather to twenty-three great-grandchildren. Frank's life was a testament to his strong family values, his unwavering work ethic, and the deep love he shared with all who knew him. He will be dearly missed and remembered in our hearts always.
Visitation Sunday 4-8pm. Funeral Monday 10:30am at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile), Sterling Hts. Entombment, Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
