Sadly, our beloved Frank Allen Sackrider passed away at home on June 29, 2025, surrounded by those he cherished. He was 76 years old. Frank was born in Wolverine, Michigan, on May 10, 1949, at the old family farm, the third of six children to Russel and Bonnie (nee: Bell) Sackrider.
Frank attended Wolverine Community Schools, and while in high school, he met the love of his life, Jeanie Lasik. He graduated in 1968, and the next four years of his life were very busy as he joined the Air Force. Then on June 12, 1970, Frank married the love of his life, Jeanie. The couple would spend the next two years in Germany while Frank served in the military. After his four years of service were completed, Frank and Jeanie returned home to Wolverine, where Frank would become a contractor and start his family.
Frank was a true artisan in every sense... He loved tinkering around in his shop, building, fixing things, and having various projects going at one time with his brothers and best friend Randy. With an endless list of things he wanted to do, while he loved to do these things, Frank's greatest passion right down to his last moments, was to tell others about his great God Jehovah, and the wonderful future blessings Jehovah's Kingdom will bring.
Frank is survived by his wife, Jeanie, of 55 years; and his four sons, Bryon (Sara), Dennis (fiancé Melissa Bergman), Michael (Joni), Jason (Dallas). He is also survived by his ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Frank is further survived by his five siblings; Jeanette (Eugene) Warner, John (Linda) Sackrider, Raymond (Sharon) Sackrider, Susan (Kenneth) Warner, David (Natalie) Sackrider, and numerous nephews and nieces.
A memorial service is planned July 12th, 2025 at 4:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 1830 Shaw Road, Petoskey, MI. 49770, with Gary Sumerix officiating.
