Franklin was born on December 5th, 1932 in Red Wing, Colorado.
He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Manuelita Martinez, Granddaughter Abigail Sanchez, Parents Profrio and Onofre Aguirre, Brothers Jr Aguirre, Mike Aguirre,Toby Aguirre, and Dave Aguirre.
Franklin is survived by his 6 children, Ray Gabriel Aguirre (Gerry), Mary M Aguirre, Moses Aguirre, Donaciana Aguirre, Frances Aguirre, Floyd Arthur Aguirre (Bertha) and Sister Rose Montoya (Gilbert). Franklin has 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and also a couple great great grandchildren.
Franklin met his wife of 49 years on a potato field in Monte Vista, Colorado and then had 3 sons and 3 daughters. He loved feeding the wild life and even had a fox that came often and a deer he named Genevieve that came once a week.
Franklin was loved by many and will be missed tremendously.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday June 20th, 2025 at New Hope Ministries ( 108 Kansas Avenue) in Walsenburg CO. The viewing starts at 9:15 am for the public and Services will start at 10 am followed by burial at the La Veta Cemetery and a reception afterwards at the LA Veta Community Center.
