Franklin "Frank" Eugene Harris, Jr. of Centerville, Tennessee, departed this earthly life on June 25, 2025, at the age of 71. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on August 29, 1953, to the late Franklin and Helen Harris, Sr.
For over 38 years, Frank served his community as a firefighter with the Metro Nashville Fire Department. He retired as an Engineer from Engine 10, leaving behind many lifelong brothers. He was one you could count on, never needed praise, just always doing what was right. But for all the hours he gave to his job, Frank was above all a father. His four children were his greatest joy. His love for them shaped everything he did.
Those left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 33 years, Angela Harris, of Centerville, Tennessee; children, Trey (Tammy) Harris of Greenbrier, Tennessee, Jason Harris of Greenbrier, Tennessee, Morgan Harris of Greenbrier, Tennessee, and Spencer Harris of Centerville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Brandon, Tanner, Miranda, Hunter, Anna, and Asa; great-grandchildren, Raylan, Grayson, Rylee, and Zayne; siblings, Cathy, Pamela, and Darlene, along with cherished nieces and nephews who brought light to his life. In addition to his parents Frank is preceded in death by his sister Sherry.
Cremation was chosen in keeping with his personal wishes and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville, Tennessee is honored to be serving the Harris Family during this difficult time.
