Franklin Jordan Obituary

Mr. Franklin Taylor Jordan, 70, of Buckatunna, MS passed from this life Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Friday, November 5, 1954, to the late Vina Mae Nelton Loran "N L" Jordan. He attended Red Creek Church of God. He retired as a dispatcher and operator for Mar-Jac Poultry. He enjoyed being outdoors around his pond feeding the fish and working in his garden.
Mr. Jordan is preceded in death by his parents, Vina Mae Nelton Loran "N L" Jordan; son, Kevin Jordan; three sisters, Nora Lee Carroll, Charlotte Dearmon, and Francis Hollinghead. He is survived by his daughter, Rachel Koen (Jeff) of Buckatunna, MS; eight grandchildren, Timothy Zepeda, Kaley Thornton (Kaleb), Jacob Thompson, Jade Jordan, Rayne Jordan, Logan Jordan, Zoey Jordan, and Shiloh Jordan; two great grandchildren, Kassidy and Kennedi.
Visitation for Mr. Jordan will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Red Creek Church of God in Wayne County, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Red Creek Church of God in Wayne County, MS with Rev. Steve Watts officiating. Interment will be in Zion Rest Cemetery in Buckatunna, MS.
