Freddie Eugene Gray, 92, of Spurgeon, passed away August 7, 2025 at Lakewood Home in Petersburg, IN. He was born March 21, 1933 to Pallas and Rada (Kolb) Gray in Princeton, IN. He graduated from Otwell High School Class of 1951 and went on to serve in the United States Air Force for 20 years before retiring. Fred DJ'd as "Gene" at the WITZ radio station in Jasper, IN for many years.

Freddie is survived by his brother, Marlin (Linda Kay) Gray of Otwell; and his nieces and one nephew. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ella Gray; his parents; and his brother, Donald Gray.

Services for Freddie will take place at 11 AM EST on Wednesday, August 13, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 10 AM EST until service time. Burial will follow at Otwell Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.

Sorry to hear about Fred, I was one of the caregivers that took care of Fred a few years ago at Lakewood . He was always a sweet guy to take care of. You all are in my prayers
