Frederick Jedwill Obituary

Barrett Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Frederick Warren "Fritz" Jedwill age 87 of Cleveland. He passed away Monday, October 28, 2024. Fritz was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Kurt Jedwill and Thelma Morley Jedwill. Following High school, Fritz went on to attend and graduate from the Wayland Academy in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin and later Eastern Michigan University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. Over the next several years Fritz would serve in the school districts of Santa Rosa, CA and Brookesvile, Florida where he would retire with over 20 years service. In 1993, Fritz moved to Cleveland where he became an active part of the community. He joined the Cleveland First Methodist Church where he sang in the church choir, the hand bell choir, attended the mens adult Bible study and volunteered with Mildred's Thrift Shop. Fritz was also member of the Helen Oldtimers, White County Retired Educators and Alcoholics Anonymous.
He is preceded in death by his parents, an is survived by his brother Richard Jedwill of Arden, NC.
There will be no local services for Fritz, he will be taken to his family cemetery in Cambridge. Illinois where he will be laid to rest beside his parents.
