Fredrick James Clark, 84, of Holts Summit, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, Missouri. He was born on January 27, 1941, in Jefferson City, to the late Victor E. Clark Sr. and Viola L. (Heflin) Clark. Fred graduated from Jefferson City High School in 1959. On September 4, 1965, he married Rosetta Jane Nichols, who survives him.
He served in the Army National Guard from 1961 to 1966. Fred was self-employed in construction and automotive work until his retirement in April 2024. He enjoyed boating, fishing, going to the gun range, and spending time with family and friends.
Along with his wife, Rosetta, Fred is survived by his three children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren: James Clark of Holts Summit, MO, and his children Ashlea (Mike), Nichole (Kyle) and daughter Zoey, and Courtney (Nick) and daughter Emma; Jeannie Porter (Brian) of Columbia, MO, and their children Shelby, Cody, and Brett; and Ed Clark (Connie) of Scottsdale, AZ. He is also survived by two sisters, Nona Jenkins and Vernie Yates. Fred was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings: Peggy Clark, Barbara Mustain, Julia Willmeno, and Victor Clark Jr., as well as his stepmother, Faye Clark.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details will be posted on Facebook.
