With deep love and gratitude, we bid farewell to our beloved mother, who passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025 surrounded by the love and warmth of family.
Ellen was a lady with many joys. She loved the beach, exploring nature and taking her grandchildren on many fun adventures.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Leoma Hatcher; three brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her loving husband, Don; two daughters, Theresa (Joel) Braswell and Danielle Gooden. She also leaves behind a legacy of love through four grandchildren, Nicholas, MacKenzie and Lizzie Gooden and Mary-Scott Braswell; brother, Dennis (Sue) Hatcher; sisters, Linda (Ken) Cunningham and Beverly (Dallas) Holland. She also leaves behind numerous loving nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel, 6405 Highway 90 W, Milton, Florida 32570 at 2:00pm.
