We are gathered here today to celebrate and give thanks to the life and lasting deeds of Gail Levon Agnew 71, who transitioned into her eternal home on July 26, 2025, at her home in Anderson, SC.

We honor today, Gail Levon Agnew, who will be remembered and deeply missed. She left with us a lasting imprint in our hearts. She was born in Abbeville, SC on April 24, 1954 to the late Joel Battle and Mary Ruth Wharton Battle.

She was a member of Washington Street Presbyterian Church, now known as New Faith Presbyterian Church. She attended JS Wright High School. Upon finishing school, she worked many years as a Manager in Food Service.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories, her devoted husband of 36 years, JB Agnew; two daughters, Pamela Battle and Jamaica Agnew of Greenville, SC; one bonus son, JB (Abbie) Agnew, Jr. of Honea Path, SC; one sister, Eva Mae Battle; one brother, Joseph (Pamela R.) Battle, Sr. both of Abbeville, SC; two grandsons, Ricardo Battle of Anderson, SC and Za'Myrion Merriweather of Greenville, SC; three granddaughters, Ni'Syiah Burton, A'Nyiah Mayfield, and A'Nylah Mayfield all of Greenville, SC; three great grandchildren; five nieces, Sophia Simmons, Jacqueline Jamison, Erica Crawford, Ramona Battle, Stephanie Davis; and one nephew, Joseph Battle Jr.; a host of family and friends.
