Gail Boyer Obituary

Mrs. Gail Venable Boyer, age 79, of Mount Airy, passed away Friday night October 11, 2024 , at The Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina, with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Boyer was born November 18, 1944, in Whiteville, North Carolina, to the late James Gilbert Venable and Stella Payne Venable. She worked many years as a supervisor in the furniture manufacturing industry. Mrs. Boyer attended the Hamlet School of Nursing. She was a loving mother, wife, and friend, she’ll be deeply missed by all that knew her. Mrs. Boyer is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Stewart Boyer and Misty; grandchildren, Cydney Boyer, Dawson Boyer; sisters and brothers-in-laws, Sandra Venable Sutphin and Danny, Marolyn Venable Marion and Lee; nieces and nephews, Jarod Sutphin, Jocelyn Pettey, Tracy Marion, Jeff Godwin; step daughter-in-law, Luann Boyer. Mrs. Boyer was preceded in death by her first husband, Clayton Mitchell Boyer, second husband, Charlie James Daniel; stepson, Brian Mitchell Boyer. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Little Mountain Baptist Church at 2 PM with the Dr. Rick Jackson officiating. Per the request of Mrs. Boyer there will be no formal visitation held. Moody’s of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Boyer family.
