Gene Alan Snow, known lovingly to friends and family as Geno, entered into eternal rest on July 12, 2025, in N. Miami, Oklahoma, after a courageous battle with a brain tumor. Born on March 20, 1968, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, Gene's life was a testament to the power of faith, the importance of family, and the value of hard work.Preceded in death by his parents, Rev. James R. Snow and Bert Hutchison, as well as his brothers Jackie Lee Snow and James (Lesman) Snow, Gene's legacy is carried on through his devoted wife, Kara Snow of the home, his loving daughter, Rachel Brooks of Miami, OK, and his sons, James and his wife Ravona Snow of N. Miami, OK, and Mark Snow of Miami, OK. He also leaves behind his brothers, Stacy and his wife Katie Snow of Peoria, OK, and Danny and his wife Bobbie Snow of Dotyville, OK, his sisters, Tressie and her husband R.C Gilmore of Miami, OK, and Jolene Mclaughlin of Stillwell, OK. Gene's joyous spirit will forever live on in the hearts of his seven grandchildren, Emily, Zoey, Kenzie, Mason, Adian and Kiley Brooks, and Ashlynn Snow, who all held a special place in his heart.Gene's educational journey culminated in achieving his GED, a stepping stone that led to a fulfilling career spanning over three decades. As a Crew Foreman and Heavy Equipment Operator, he was respected for his expertise on multiple construction sites across the United States. He was a pillar in his community, known for his handy nature and his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His love for the Lord was evident in how he conducted his life and in his interactions with others.Gene's interests were as robust as his personality. An avid hunter and fisherman, he found peace and solace in the great outdoors. He was also an enthusiast of golf, motorcycles, and firearms, pursuits that reflected his adventurous spirit and zest for life. Gene's hobbies were more than pastimes; they were extensions of his character, showcasing his love for freedom and the beauty of nature. Those who knew Gene will remember him for his kind heart and the joy he brought to their lives. He was a man of integrity, always putting others before himself, and his generous spirit will be sorely missed. His life was a portrait of dedication-to his faith, to his family, and to his community.Gene's passing leaves a void in the many lives he touched, but his memory will be cherished and celebrated by his 8 nieces, 4 nephews, 2 great-nieces, 5 great-nephews, and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and close friends who were all privileged to know him. His was a life well-lived, full of love, laughter, and the simple pleasures that make a life rich and full.As we bid farewell to Gene Alan Snow, we do so with the assurance that his legacy will continue to inspire us. In the face of loss, we find comfort in the knowledge that he now rests in the arms of our Savior, free from pain and suffering.
