Genevieve (O'Neil) Ramirez of West Yarmouth, passed on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the age of 94. She was the beloved daughter of the late James and Genevieve O'Neil.
Gen was born on April 13, 1931, and grew up in Medford. She went on to raise her family in Arlington for many years. She was married for 71 years to her late husband Edwin Ramirez.
Gen enjoyed being a snowbird between her home on Cape Cod and her home in Florida.
Gen is survived by her two daughters Lisa Giacchetto of Tewksbury and Susan Ramirez of Somerville; her two sons Robert Ramirez of Dunstable and Steven Ramirez and his wife Pon of Lowell. She also is survived by her six grandchildren Reese and Austin Williams, Brent and Chad Giacchetto, and Robbie and Cassie Ramirez, and her two great grandchildren, Remy Williams and Leo Giacchetto.
Gen was predeceased by her six brothers John, James, Paul, Roger, Raymond and Robert O'Neil.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 12 noon at the Immaculate Conception Church, 144 East Merrimack Street in Lowell. KINDLY GATHER AT THE CHURCH. Interment to follow in Lowell Cemetery.
