George James Kelly, my best friend and my loving husband.
Mr. George James Kelly, 78 of Duncannon, PA entered into eternal
Rest on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Holy Spirit Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
George was a Sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. A Life time Teamsters member, retired from Stroehmann's Bakery after 29 years as a route driver.
George loved to fish, going to the beach, sitting on his bench, Saturday breakfasts, watching the game show network, spending time with his beloved Teddy Joe, but most of all just being with his family.
Surviving are his soul mate and loving wife of 58, years Brenda R. Kelly two sons; Mike Kelly and his wife Pam, Wayne Kelly, and his wife Karen both of Duncannon, a daughter, Robin DiMemmo, and her husband Tony of Mechanicsburg 4 grandchildren; Dereck, Deaven, Alysia, Faith, 8 great grandchildren; Alea, Jayden, Aleigha, Atticus, Avery, Wynnona, Arora, and Sylvia, and five grand pups. George was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Kelly, his mother, Mary Imhoff, 2 brothers; Jack Kelly, Bill Kelly, and a sister, Jone Clark.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Friday, May 2, 2025 at the Ronald C.L. Smith Funeral Home, 325 North High Street, Duncannon, PA 17020.
Burial with military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. on Friday, May 2, 2025 at the funeral home.
