SSGT E-6 George Clifford Pintar passed away peacefully on July 22nd, 2025 at Advent Health Hospice in Altamonte Springs, FL at the age of 96. George lived with his wife Alexandrina in Winter Springs, FL. George was born on July 4th,1929 in Gary, Indiana to Joseph and Anna Pintar. George was an Army Veteran who served in World War II and retired Honorably after 23 years of service. He worked for Frito Lay as a Sales/Route Driver, where he eventually retired. During that time he attended Jones College where he received his Associates Degree. He is survived by his loving wife Alexandrina Pintar, his children, Zora Pao, Deena Bianca Salkow, Tanya Renee Pintar, George Lawrence Pintar, and Lola Kim Pintar-Rodriguez; his son-in-laws, John Pao, Ronald Salkow and Rey Rodriguez; sister-in-law, Christlyn Greaves, 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and his step children, Patricia Miller, Derryl Brown, and Jeanille Thomas including many more family and friends. George Clifford Pintar was a genuine man of honor and strength who was truly loved by his family and everyone who knew him. He had a remarkable way of making everyone feel seen and valued with his humor and warmth, it was truly infectious. It is said "that the true measure of a man is not what he has, but what he does with what he has"... and he always put his family first. He will be missed beyond measure. Psalm 147:3: "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." A Memorial will be held: DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory on July 30, 2025 from 3:00pm to 07:00 pm with reception to follow.
