George Williams, 79, of English, Indiana passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, in English, Indiana.

He was born on January 7, 1946, in Owensville, Indiana to Merle and Lena (Hulen) Williams

George loved to rebuild lawnmowers and building car hauling trailers. George also was a very experienced woodworker and loved creating leather products.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra of 51 years. His parents, a great grandchild, Xavior Dawson and a brother, Darrell Williams.

George is survived by his children, Melinda Elliott and Raymond Williams of English, IN. Grandchildren, Alex (Ollie) Surrett, Jordan Dawson, Jacob Dawson and Alisha Dawson. He is also survived by his niece, Debbie Snyder and a nephew, Dan Williams.

He was a member of the Good News Church in English, IN and was baptized on August 12, 2012.

George was a U.S. Navy veteran who served our country with honor. He also was a volunteer fireman for the city of Owensville, IN.

Cremation was chosen according to his wishes.
