Ruby and I were sad to hear of the passing of Coach Green. I never had him as a athletic coach, but he did coach me on the School Board. You would have to look far and wide to find a better community citizen than Jerry. His spirit will be missed in many ways in our villages.

I will always be grateful to Judy for opening the door to the friendship I was able to share with Jerry Green. Judy and I had reconnected a few years before she passed and we talked at great length about our faith. After she went on to heaven, I began visiting with Dorothy and Jerry sharing stories of Judy and then sharing stories of our mutual faith. I was touched by his genuine kindness and loved the chances we had to pray together. I know as Coach, Jerry made a difference in people´s lives, but I really only knew him as a man of faith, devoted to his wife and children and someone I will always think of as a friend. What a great celebration Jerry, Dorothy, and Judy are having now. What a loss for the rest of us. To Patty and all the family, I send love and prayers.

Our heartfelt love and comfort to Debbie and Patti´s families for the loss of such an endearing man. Of course we remember Coach Green on the field, but my favorite memories are from your home as "Dad", present and lovingly protective of his 3 daughters and kind to their friends.
May prayers and memories encourage and bless you richly.
