Geraldine Louise Cullison, 84, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 1, 2025. She was born on October 30, 1940, in Indianapolis, to the late Kenneth Royston Bellows and Martha Jane (Carlyle) Baker.
Geraldine, known affectionately as "Gerri" to friends and family, was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She graduated with honors from Thomas Carr Howe High School in 1958, where she was recognized as the top student in the Business Department and awarded the prestigious Kiwanis Medal for academic excellence.
On June 21, 1958, she married the love of her life, Irvin "Stu" V. Cullison. Together, they shared nearly 58 joyful years of marriage, raising a family grounded in love, faith, and mutual devotion. Stu preceded her in death on June 8, 2016.
Geraldine worked as a secretary at RCA and later at Keystone Middle School (now Southport Middle School). She also faithfully served as church secretary at Faith Assembly Church of God, where her kindness and dedication left a lasting impact.
A woman of deep and enduring faith, she was a longtime member of both Faith Assembly Church of God and Southport Presbyterian Church. Her musical gifts were a treasured part of worship-she sang in the church choir and offered stirring solos during Saturday morning radio broadcasts.
Geraldine found beauty and fulfillment in the simple joys of life. She was a gifted artist and craftswoman, enjoying painting, ceramics, cross stitch, gardening, and reading. Her home was a reflection of her creativity and the warmth she extended to all who entered.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Karen (Ricky) Keen, Gregory (Cathee) Cullison, and Sherri (boyfriend, Matt Wright) Dugger; grandchildren, Michelle Flowers, Ryan (Patricia) Donovan, Brittany (Adam) Conklin, Bradley Cullison (fiancée, Samantha), and Lauren Cullison; and great-grandchildren, Adalynn, Kendall, Alivia, Finley, and Amelia.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Irvin "Stu" V. Cullison, and her siblings, Loretta Henry, Joseph Griffin, and Alan Baker.
A celebration of Gerri's life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her memory, share stories, and celebrate a life well lived from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
