Glenda Lingo 67, of Anahuac, TX; passed Jul. 03, 2025.
Services are Monday, July 07, 2025. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Proctor's Mortuary 518 Miller St. Anahuac, TX: from 1030 until 1130AM. A graveside service will be held at 12Noon in Anahuac, Cemetery Anahuac, TX.
Glenda was born on May 1, 1958, in Freeport, Texas to Charles Tanton and Helen Thibodeaux.
She was married to her beloved husband, Don Lingo for 50 years, he was the love of her life, together, they had two daughters Teresa and Donyelle.
She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and son-laws who called her mom, and she called them her sons
Glenda was very beautiful, strong, feisty, kind, and loving with a heart of gold. She had the ability to find joy in the simplest things. She had a green thumb when it came to growing things and loved her plants.
Glenda enjoyed having coffee in the mornings with her four sisters, which she was very close too, they would all go fishing together often at their favorite fishing spot.
She loved her parrots and raised "Bubba" from a baby. She loved her animals, classic Old Rock and Country music, you could find Glenda laughing and dancing around with her daughter's enjoying life.
She never met a stranger and was kind to everyone, always helping others and putting them before herself. She enjoyed being around her little family, sisters, brothers, and many nieces and nephews at cook outs and family gatherings they often had.
Glenda Will be missed but never forgotten by her husband: Don Lingo; Daughters: Teresa Brum (Pete) and Donyelle Duncan (Jason); Grandchildren: Glen Willcox, Caleb Brum.
