Glenn Leslie Jernigan, a resident of South Boston, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the age of 71. Born in Florida on February 1, 1954, Glenn was a beloved partner, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of many around him with his warmth and generosity.

A dedicated craftsman, Glenn spent his career in restoration, specializing in convertible tops for cars. His attention to detail and passion for his work left a lasting legacy in every project he undertook.

Glenn led a life filled with simple joys and profound experiences. He found great pleasure in the tranquility of Southern Virginia, often nourishing the local birdlife and appreciating the natural beauty of his surroundings. He was an avid sports fan, always loyal to his home team, the Miami Dolphins. His love for music, particularly 70s albums, provided many cherished moments with his devoted partner, Nancy, as they reminisced about the past and enjoyed each other’s company.

Glenn’s zest for life extended beyond the borders of his home. He and Nancy shared countless adventures traveling in and out of the country, creating memories that they would always treasure.

Survived by his loving partner, Nancy Worsley, Glenn was also a devoted and beloved uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. His companionable nature and generous heart will be fondly remembered by all who knew him, including his cherished fur babies, Georgia, Doodlebug, Cleo, and the newest addition, Asher.

Preceding Glenn in death were his parents, John and Pauline Jernigan, and his five siblings, who he held dear in his heart throughout his life.

As Glenn wished, a private homegoing and celebration of life will be held to honor his memory. The arrangements have been graciously provided by Brooks-Lyon Funeral Home, ensuring Glenn’s final journey is marked with the respect and dignity he deserves.
