Glenna Roxann (Smith) Embury was born in Willow Springs, Missouri, on April 18, 1944, to Archie Smith and Vivian (Sigler) Smith. She went by Roxie or Roxann. Roxann departed this life June 29, 2025 in West Plains, Missouri, at Ozarks Healthcare.
Roxann is survived by her husband, David Embury; two children: daughter, Tammy Bailie (James) and son, Troy Gilley (Marcy); three grandchildren, Hailey Blair (Thomas), Blayne Collins (Amarissa), and Ashley Essary (Nathan); twelve great grandchildren; and one brother, Mike Smith (Sara). She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Debbie.
Roxann worked as a cashier and a housekeeper most of her life. She took pride in her church and her angel collection. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with Hailey. If you knew Roxann you knew of Hailey. Her love for Jesus shined bright at First Day Free Will Baptist Church
A celebration of life will be celebrated at a later date. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs, Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
