Gloria Jean Baca Martinez, 67, passed away July 15, 2025. She was born November 29, 1957 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to parents, Mike Baca and Helen Valverde Valerio. Preceded in death by her father Mike Baca along with her husband, Raymond Martinez; sister, Marlene Baca; stepdad, Phillip Valerio; and sister-in-law, Shelly Martinez.
Gloria enjoyed playing Bingo and listening to oldies music. She liked to gamble, playing fish on her phone. Gloria loved to plan parties, getting everyone together. She was about family, sharing her time and love with each of them. Gloria was a caretaker, always making sure everyone was good and taken care of. She was the best cook, you could not leave her home without eating something. Especially her grandbaby Jayleene who kept her on her toes. Gloria will be remembered for her witty personality, the biggest smile and the compassion and love she had for everyone who came in contact with her.
Gloria is survived by her mother, Helen Valerio; son, Carlos (Shawna) Baca; daughter, Valerie Baca; grandchildren, Kayla Baca, Mercedes Baca, Samantha Baca, Jacob Trujillo, and Brandy Trujillo; 5 great grandchildren, Tommy, Adelaide, Jeremias and Jayleene; siblings, Elizabeth Garcia, Theresa Baca, Marlo (Sara) Baca, and Susan Valerio; in-laws, Brenda Martinez, Larry Martinez, Mario Escajeda, Lazario Escajeda and David Maes.
