Grace Chloe Hoaglin

February 13, 1932 - July 18, 2025

Grace Chloe Hoaglin, 93, of Latham, Ill., passed away July 18, 2025, at Vonderlieth Living Center, Mt Pulaski, Ill.

Chloe was born on February 13, 1932. She was the daughter of George M. Couch, M.D. and Grace Couch. She married Robert L. Hoaglin on May 23, 1954. They were always together for 69 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and by her parents. She is survived by her husband's niece, Debra Ciotti, of Springfield, Ill.

Chloe was fond of her farmland, which she lovingly managed. She was a member of Central Christian Church in Decatur since 1960. She served as a registrar, Deacon, and member of the Church Council for many years. The Church awarded her the honor of Deacon Emeritus. She was a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. She had served the organization as State Historian and State Chaplain. She was a member of Colonial Daughters of the 17th Century. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home on Oakland Ave., Decatur, Ill. A Celebration of Life will follow at 4 p.m. A private burial service will be held at another time in Lake Bank Cemetery, west of Latham, Ill.

Memorial donations may be made in Chloe's name to Central Christian Church, Decatur, Ill.
