Age 84 of Au Gres, Michigan passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025. Grace was born in Au Gres, Michigan on March 16, 1941 to the late Henry and Lydia (Schonmeier) Heinrich. In 1961 she married Dale Nelson and they spent 64 wonderful years together.
Grace was a lifelong resident of Au Gres. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and cake decorating. Her greatest love was her family. She supported her children and grandchildren at all of their school and athletic events and was so proud of their accomplishments. She also had a special knack for making all holiday and family gatherings special for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her and she will always be loved and greatly missed.
Grace is survived by her husband Dale Nelson, her children Kimberly (Thomas) Farver, Valerie (Jeff) Britton, and Hollie (Thomas) Anderson, grandchildren Gregory (Cheryl) Farver, Geoffrey Farver, Gillian Farver, Ryan (Nykole) Britton, Levi (Isabelle) Britton, Amanda (Jared) Engwis, Trevor (Sierra) Brock, Dylan Anderson and Sonja Anderson, great grandchildren, Liam Farver, Kieran Britton, Armonti and Ruby Farver.
She is also survived by her brother, Jerry (Rosemary) Heinrich. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Lydia Heinrich.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 on Monday, July 14th at Buresh Funeral Home in Au Gres, MI. The funeral will be on Tuesday, July 15th at 11:00 at Buresh Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors before the funeral from 10:00-11:00.
