Gregory Howard Butler, 57, died on May 6, 2024. Born in Decatur, GA, he was the son of Pansy Batchelor Butler and the late Thurman Butler and brother to the late Jeff Butler. Greg worked as a truck driver for Great Plaines Trucking and had worked in Law Enforcement and as an EMT. In addition to his mother, Pansy, survivors include his sister, Connie Butler, sister-in-law, Denise Laird, niece, Kirby Butler, nephew, Jonathan Christy and aunt, Faye Hinshaw. A private service will be held at a later date. Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, WEST, Watkinsville is in charge of arrangements. www.lordandstephens.com
