Gregory Jordan Obituary

Gregory Jordan, 68, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at his home. He was born May 2, 1957, in Chicago, IL and had been a longtime resident of Wildwood, IL. Greg was a kind, caring man with a big smile who loved his family, friends and all animals. He proudly retired from the Chicago Carpenters Union Local #1 and enjoyed boating, music, riddles, hanging out with his family and friends and of course watching Westerns.
In retirement he enjoyed being dragged around the globe by his wife and always managed to come back with a tan somehow darker than the last. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, generosity and dedication to helping others (humans and otherwise!).
His legacy lives on in everyone that he patiently and persistently taught to water ski, every home renovation project that he showed up to help with, and all the advice given on the importance of finding your "soul mate".
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Corinne Jordan; 2 children, Anthony (Lauren) Jordan and Kelly (Ben Chapman) Jordan; 2 grandchildren, Cooper & Oliver Jordan; sister, Gail (Steve) Wagner; brother-in-law, Richard Wenzl & sister-in-law, Emely Jordan, many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and so many close friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Wenzl and brother, James Jordan.
