Gregory Thomas Menke of Troy, MO passed away on June 29, 2025. He was born on August 23, 1964, in St. Louis, MO to David Rampani and Maryann Childers (nee: Keating). He had reached the age of 60 years.
Greg was a hard worker; he spent many years as Union Carpenter. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, floating, or grilling. Greg was also a fan of Ford Trucks, the St. Louis Blues, and NASCAR. He could often be found sitting on his back porch with his wife, Shelley and his dog, Leo with a cold Bud Light in hand. Most of all, spending time with his family is what meant the most to him.
Those that are grateful for having shared in Greg's life are his beloved wife, Shelley Menke (nee: Broeker), his loving daughter, Nicole (Terrance) Felty; his mother, Maryann Childers; his father, David Rampani; siblings, Glennon (Michele) Menke, and Carrie Brown; his niece, Hannah Brown; stepsister, Ramonda (Ray) Craft; his loyal Best Friend of many years, Brian Castillo; his stepchildren, Stephanie Coke, and Stephen Coke; his step grandchild, Easton Holbrook; and his loyal, furry-friend, Leo, that was always by his side. Greg is preceded in death by his stepfather, Harold Childers; brother-in-law, Jason Brown; one brother, Shawn Menke, and his stepson, Bruce Politte, Jr. He was a beloved husband, loving father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend of many, he will be missed by all who knew him.
A visitation for Greg will be held from 3:00-6:00pm on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, with a 6:00pm Celebration of Life service to immediately follow at 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles, MO 63304.
