Craig Anderson Obituary

Craig Alan Anderson, 65, of Hampden, MA, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and lifelong car enthusiast, passed away peacefully, surrounded by those he loved most. He was a man of quiet strength, steady devotion, and generous spirit. His presence enriched the lives of all who knew him. A skilled bodyman by trade, Craig built a career defined by craftsmanship, integrity, and pride in his work. His passion for automobiles extended far beyond the shop. He was a true enthusiast who found joy in every curve of a fender and every roar of an engine. Among his many automotive loves, Craig shared a special connection with his 1967 Ford Fairlane, a car that reflected his spirit: classic, powerful, and full of character. Craig is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Anderson, and their three sons: Michael Anderson and his wife Leah of Granby, Connecticut; Justin Anderson of Hampden, Massachusetts; and Ryan Anderson of Agawam, Massachusetts, who is engaged to Ashley Jerome. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Gavin Anderson, Charlotte Anderson, and Paige Anderson and Sophie Jerome. Craig will be remembered for his thoughtful nature, his quiet sense of humor, and the deep pride he took in his family and his craft. His absence leaves a profound void, but his legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the values he embodied. Family and friends are invited for Visitation on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, CT.
