My sincere condolences, to the Watson and Carter families. I worked with Gwenette at Community Federal for about 5yrs. We worked in the same department and I truly enjoyed meeting and working with her. Although, I left there Gwenette and I would still touch base over the years and I must say she was better than I with making the phone calls. She would call me every year for my birthday and we always loved having our birthdays so close together and that we were both Libras and then she told me she shared the same birthday as her husband. I guess I should mention we worked together back in the 70's so our friendship goes way back.
When we met each others families we would always say how similar they were. I know my Mom and Dad and siblings just loved her. I absolutely loved her family too. They had to be the nicest, easiest and welcoming people I ever met in my life.
Gwenette and I always got a kick out of Russell and Eva they were the cutest couple and you could see where Gwenette got her good looks and beautiful personality from.
Gwenette always checked in on me especially, when I went through breast cancer a couple of years ago. Now I hope she will be my angel watching over me.
Gwenette always talked about so many different things that were going on in this world we live in. I know one thing for sure she was a very wise lady and sometimes we could finish each others sentences.
I am just heartbroken over this sudden loss and the way I found out was I called her cell phone and wanted to joke with her and ask so who are you voting for but, instead after several rings her husband picked up the phone and told me that Gwenette had passed away suddenly from a heart attack. I was crushed and shocked and just didn't want to believe it.
She will be loved and missed by so many. Gwenette could light up a room with infectious smile and laughter. I will never forget her and I lost my soulmate.
Another thing we had in common was we were both caregivers to our parents and so God will have a special place for her in heaven.
My heart breaks for husband and the rest of her family and I pray they will be able to carry on without her.
God Bless and keep all of you.
Oh one other thing I wanted to mention that Gwenette and I had cute little nicknames for each other. I always called her my African violet and she called me her white lily. Boy am I going to miss her.

Rest easy with the Angels Ms. Gwen. The world is definitely dimmer without you in it. Met you a few weeks ago and forever cherish the little time that we shared. Holding on to the worry worm that you gave me closer than ever. Thank you for being a friend to every “stranger” that you met.
Watch over us until we meet again

Ms. Gwen has known me my entire life. She was a friend of the family longer than I have been alive. She was always polite, ask how you were doing, knew you by name.
It is sad to she her go at such a young age and SOOO unexpected.
Ms. Gwen may you watch down upon us & hope we make you smile.
Love,
Bryan

Gwen always had a laugh and a smile for us girls when we would come to the bank. She gave great tid bits of advice and never failed to check in on us when we´d come in deposits. We often joked about her retirement. The world is a little dimmer without her light, Gwen will be missed.
With love, her girls at Rock Road Animal Hospital
