H.L. Lamberth Obituary

H.L. Lamberth, age 86, passed away on Friday, June 13th, 2025 at his residence in Gadsden Alabama. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Mr. Lamberth was born on July 15, 1938 in Baileyton, Cullman County, Alabama.
He is preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Martha Gray Lamberth; parents, Horace and Vida (Murphee) Lamberth; father and mother-in-law, Lonnie and Essie (Lankford) Gray; sister, Teresa Lamberth Saxon; and brother, Roger Lamberth.
He is survived by his daughters, Sabrina Kilgore and Tina Pentecost; chosen sons, Kenny Kilgore and Dana Pentecost; grandchildren, Jacob Kilgore, Joshua Braun, Keila (Asi) Azran, and Hunter Wood; great-grandchildren, Dillon and Erickson Braun, and Levi Tyler Azran; sisters, Barbara Lamberth Richardson, Wanda Lamberth Lovelady, and Margaret Lamberth Preston; sisters-in-law, Margaret Gray Oliver and Janice Lamberth; and many other friends and relatives.
He also leaves behind special friend, Bo Stark; chosen grandsons (The Delmont Boys), Clay Gillian, Cameron Munroe, Erin "Bird" Birdwell, Chad Bailey, and Chris "Lucky" Stevens; as well as his fur babies, Precious and Roscoe.
H.L. served in the US Army. He went to Gadsden High School. He was a retired meat market manager working for Colonial Stores, Big Star and Food World. He also delivered coffee for Jim's Coffee Service.
H.L. was a kind and gentleman; he was a jokester. He loved having company especially the Delmont Boys. He always had a good cold Natty Light to share with you. He was everybody's PawPaw. Once he met you, you have a friend for life.
