Harold Frazer Donica, 86, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025, at his home in the presence of his family. He was born November 12, 1938 in Gorman, the son of Harry and Dixie Donica.
Harold graduated from Cisco High School, class of 1957, and remained a proud Lobo and an avid fan. He went on to graduate from Cisco Jr. College before being drafted into the US Army. In 1965 he married his sweetheart, Connie Donica, and they celebrated 59 loving years of marriage and were the proud parents of four daughters.
Harold was a member of First Baptist Church Cisco and Owner/Operator of Romney Cattle Company. He also retired from Texaco Inc., City of Cisco and the United States Postal Service Cisco.
He loved taking care of the land, all animals, and raising cattle. He was known for his boisterous laugh, sense of humor, and dedication to his family and work.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Dixie Donica, his step-mother Elizabeth McCracken-Donica, and numerous family members.
He is survived by his wife Connie Donica of Cisco, Daughters: Kay Donica-Webb of Breckenridge, Lisa Donica of Cisco, Darilyn Burkman (David) of Fort Worth, and Jennifer Salata (Blake) of Lantana; grandchildren: Rayna Freeman of Oklahoma, Jaylen Donica of Cisco, Sawyer Burkman of Cisco, Isaac Vasquez and Addison Salata of Lantana.
A visitation and service will be held at Kimbrough-Jacobs Funeral Home on Sunday, July 6th. Visitation will be from 12-2pm, a service of remembrance beginning at 2pm, followed by burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
