Mr. Harold Dean Frazier, age 79 of New Tazewell passed away on Sunday August 17, 2025, in Knoxville, TN at Tennova Medical Center in Turkey Creek. Harold was born June 16, 1946, in Linefork, Ky to Ottis and Lonnie Frazier who preceded him in death.
Harold retired from International Harvester and Straight Creek Boat Dock.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years Phyllis Anne Frazier. He is survived by his sons: Harold Dean Frazier, Jr and wife Marilyn, Phillip Lee Frazier and wife Jinky, Derrick Frazier and wife Sabrina. Grandchildren: Billy Frazier and wife Christina, Jessica Ann Frazier, Mason Richey, Kristen Frazier, McKinzie Frazier, Kylee Frazier, Cora Capps, David Harvey and Andrea Harvey. Great Grandchildren: Isabella, Arya, Eli, Julian and Lukas. Sisters: Sheila Frazier, Bernadetta Loftus, Debbie Frazier, Jenny Harpold, Rebecca Frazier. Lifelong friends Doug and Carolyn Ison, and Jerry and Linda Russell. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday August 20, 2025, at the Claiborne ~ Overholt Funeral Home from 11:00am till 1:00pm. Funeral services to follow at 1:00pm with Rev. Matthew Brooks and Bro. Ual Russell officiating. Burial to follow the funeral in the Irish Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers: Harold Dean Frazier, Jr., Phillip Lee Frazier, Derrick Frazier, Billy Frazier, Arthur Campbell and Daniel Fields.

To the family of Phyllis and Harold Dean, we offer our sincere sympathy. We remember Phyllis as being a sweet, kind and lovely person. Harold always seemed to be happy and welcoming. This was a terrible tragedy that will be difficult for all to recover from. Our thoughts and hearts are with you all.
