Harold Keith Oliver was born on September 16, 1959, to Harold and Betty (Rose) Oliver in Mena, Arkansas.
A lot of farmers knew Keith, as he helped his dad clean out chicken houses and spread litter. He moved to Texas at a young age where he built a construction company and made a good living for his family. He suffered a 4-wheeler accident on February 25, 2001, which left him paralyzed, and he subsequently moved back to Waldron.
He left a legacy behind; he might have been paralyzed, but he never gave up. Put him in the seat of a piece of equipment, and you wouldn't know he was paralyzed. He liked to teach his grandkids how to be a mechanic. If he couldn't get out of bed, he would tell you what to do. If you had a problem, it was take a picture with your phone, come back, and he would tell you your next move. He never gave up on life, and he tried to make the best life he could for his family.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Hutchens Oliver, step-sons Steven Mitts, Michael Mitts, and Rowdy Richmond (Lori) of Greenwood, Arkansas; daughters Roxann and Savannah of Texas, and Misty Langdell of Cameron, Oklahoma; thirteen grandkids, three great-grandkids; sisters Debbie (Lenny) Lott, Arlene English (Bob), Janet (Frank) Drye of Searcy, Arkansas, and Cindy Oliver (Nicky) of Greenwood, Arkansas; brothers-in-law Jerry Ray Hutchens (Deloris), Jimmy Hutchens (Janet), Joshua Hutchens (Charla); and sister-in-law Kim Hutchens Russell (Peewee); and mother-in-law Linda Hutchens.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at the Martin Funeral & Cremation Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas. A service for Keith will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the Martin Funeral & Cremation Chapel with Bro. Jeff Wilkinson and Bro. Bill Bates officiating. Interment will follow at Freedom Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Michael Mitts, Michael Brown, Jimmy Hutchens, Jerry Ray Hutchens, Larry Russell, Rowdy Richmond, Lenny Lott, and Bill Bates.
