Harold "Sax Man" Reid
Easley, SC
With heavy hearts and celebratory spirits, we announce the passing of Harold William "Sax Man" Reid Jr. on July 8, 2025.
Born on April 13, 1988, in Greenville, SC, he was a son of the late Oliver Dean Ellison. Harold was a beloved husband, father, son, and brother. He was known to many as the "SAX MAN," a title he earned through his passion for music, which he devoted himself to since 1999.
His musical journey was nothing short of spectacular. As a self-employed musician, he filled the lives of those around him with joy and rhythm. His commitment to his craft and infectious love for music created lasting memories that will resonate forever within the hearts of his family, friends, and fans.
He is survived by his adoring wife, Cami Reid; his cherished son, Braedon Reid; his brothers, Dusty and Rusty Reid. Together, they will carry forward his legacy of love and music.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Oliver Reid.
In honor of Harold's life, a joyful celebration of his spirit will be held at the home, where we will gather to share stories, laughter, and, of course, music-just as he would have wanted. Details regarding the services will be shared in the coming days, and we invite all who knew and loved Harold to join us in this commemorative gathering.
Rest in peace, dear Harold. Your music lives on, and your memory will forever be a part of our song.
