Harry Hodges Obituary

Harry was the son of the late George & Lettie Pate Hodges. Born August 21, 1943, in Red Springs, North Carolina.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and loved woodcarving. Harry attended Aberdeen First Pentecostal Holiness Church. He showed the love of Jesus by making and sharing paracord cross keychains with others in his community.
Harry is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Betty Warwick Hodges; stepdaughter, Stacy & Jerek Fowler; sister, Debra Hodges & Bryan Peterson; brother, Jimmy & Patricia Hodges; three grandchildren, Christopher Williams, Leigha Fowler, and Logan Fowler; nieces and nephews, Kristin & Colin C. Jansen, Wells C. Jansen, and Adaline Jansen, Jeni & Ryan Brooks, Rachel Hodges, Lexi & Brad Prather; great nieces and nephews, Bo Brooks, Lettie Mae Brooks, Ryan Prather, Morgan Prather, and Maddie Prather.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, May 30, 2025, Aberdeen First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 217 S. Pinehurst Street, Aberdeen, 28315, with Pastor Pamela Mills officiating. Burial with military honors will be held at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, North Carolina. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m..

I am so sorry to hear that Harry has passed. He was a joy to see in the Dentist office. He always talked about his love for the Lord. I will treasure my paracord crosses that he made and gave to me. I will miss cleaning his teeth, and the great conversations!
