Harry was born on January 10th, 1953 and passed away on
April 18th, 2025 at the age of 72Harry Lyle Mallory, 72, of Eaton Rapids, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 18, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by the love of his family in his final moments.
Born on January 10, 1953, in Cheboygan, MI, Harry was the youngest of six children born to Alva and Ella Marie (Bayha) Mallory. He grew up in Levering and was a graduate of Pellston High School, Class of 1971.
Harry spent over 40 years behind the wheel as a dedicated semi-truck driver for a variety of companies. Even in retirement, he remained active, taking on several roles over the years. Together with his wife, Gail, Harry found great joy in camping and trail riding on their ATV throughout northern Michigan, creating countless memories with family and friends.
A devoted NASCAR fan and lover of classic westerns, Harry had a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. But above all, his greatest pride and joy was his family. He cherished every moment spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harold and Vern; his son-in-law, Mike Hagerman; and his loyal four-legged best buddy, Regal.
Harry is survived by his loving wife who he spent 54 adventurous years with, Gail (Ottinger) Mallory; daughters, Tawnya Hagerman, and Brandi Mallory; granddaughters, Faith (Randy) and Abbie; great-grandchildren, Owin, Ilyanna, Rayleigh, Kinzlee, and Randy Jr.; as well as many extended family members and close friends who will miss him dearly.
