Harry H. Pray III, 76, of Westport, passed away at 7:25 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 7:25 p.m. at Our Hospice inpatient facility in Columbus. He was born June 7, 1949, in Indianapolis, the son of Harry H. Pray,II and Margie (Kelso) Lamberson. He was born and raised in Indianapolis and has been a Westport resident since 1988. He graduated from Brownsburg High School and received an Associate Degree from IU. He retired in 2010 from Allison Transmission after 36 years of service. He was a member of the Westport Christian Church, the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, former Westport Kiwanis Club member and served on the Westport Town Council for 3 terms. He enjoyed arts, traveling, reading, pottery, painting and collector of all things. He had a pilot's license and enjoyed flying. He married "Angela" Yun Qin on May 23, 2006, in Greensburg, Indiana and she survives. Other survivors include his mother, Margie Lamberson of Plainfield; his son, Wesley (Holly) Pray of Greensburg and, his grandchildren, Dean Pray and Frances Pray. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry H. Pray, II. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor George Willette and Pastor Mike Bartlett officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to ALS Foundation through the funeral home. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.bassgasper.com
